2-2 Tie in Pelham
A strong effort ends in a tie.
After a tough loss at home on Tuesday the Rangers were back at it Saturday afternoon in Pelham. They boys played a solid game from start to finish, but the Panthers were up for the task. The Ranger controlled a large part of the play but ran into a hot Panthers net minder. Down a goal in the third period, Oliver Young dangled through the slot and scored top shelve. The game would end 2-2!
Several players had strong performances, but Ewan Powell walked away as the 'Shoeless Joe's Player of the Game.' Ewan had one of his best games of the year. He played physical and helped to break-up some late Panther chances.
Last Tuesday's 'Shoeloess Joe's Player of the Game' was Wesley Ogilvie! Despite a few tough games Wes strung together several solid games patrolling the blue line. Sorry I didn't post this earlier Wes!
