Important Game 1 Win in the OMHA Playdowns
Rangers take game one in the preliminary round!
The Rangers picked up where they last left off and came out strong against a hungry Warrior's team. Our forwards continue to find the back of the net, but it was their defensive minded play that stood out during this affair. However, this night belonged to both our defensive group and goalie Nick Tavares. Jayden, Hudson, Micah and Max played an aggressive game and kept the Simcoe shots to a minimum throughout the game. Once again Max Sciullo stood out for his strong play and earned himself the hard hat. What a great season for Max.....a quiet leader! Nick was terrific in the blue paint and he stopped some big shots to earn his 6th shutout of the season. This total team effort is exactly what it's going to take to be successful down the stretch. Rangers win the opener 5-0!
