Novice REP, 2016-2017 (Glanbrook Minor Hockey Association)

The Novice Rangers played 5 games over the weekend in Grimsby.  The young Rangers won 5-0 over Garden City in game #1.  They then took on Welland for the afternoon game and were defeated 4-0.  Grimsby was their next opponent on Saturday morning and the exciting game ended in a 5-3 defeat.  The Rangers then took on Fort Erie and defeated them 3-1.  This set up a Sunday morning battle against Grimsby.  

A rare Tuesday night game in Glanbrook saw the young Rangers take on the Grimsby Kings.  The hard fought game was close throughout but in the end the Kings edged the Rangers 3-1 with the third goal being an empty netter.  The coaching staff was happy with the work ethic the Rangers showed.  The team hard hat went to the entire team.  Keep working hard Rangers!

The Novice Rangers came back healthy and ready to go against the Sailors.  The team played hard but came up short on the 3-1 loss.  Adrinao Infurnari received the hard hat for his heads up passing and hard work.

The Novice Rangers went into Cambridge for the Hespeler Olympic Tournament.  The young Rangers played 4 games in which they lost 2-1, 2-1, 5-1 & 4-0.  The team was riddled with illnesses to various team members through the week but tried their best under the circumstances.  Get well Rangers!
