Hockey School is available to all boys and girls who were born in 2010/2011 and 2012.
Hockey School will be operated by Ryan Risidore.
Ryan was drafted to the NHL in 1994, 109th overall to the Hartford Whalers. He has played for the Guelph Storm (OHL), Hartford WolfPack (AHL), and Hamilton Bulldogs (AHL) during his professional playing career. Ryan is a highly respected and experienced Hockey Skills Instructor and Glanbrook is excited and proud to have him running our Early Development Programs this year!
There will be approx. 20 weeks of hockey in the 2015-16 season.
All sessions will take place at the Glanbrook Arena.
Teams will be created as well as team webpages (which will include your team calendar for the season)
The program will take place on Saturday Mornings.
Hockey School will focus on introducing your Son or Daughter to the game of Hockey. The season will
be a structured, safe, positive experience that will teach your Child the fundamentals of the game. Our
program will promote fun, teamwork and develop confidence in our participants while working on the
basic skills of skating, passing, stick handling and shooting. Most importantly the kids will learn to
have FUN on the ice.
Cost for Hockey School is $315
Evaluations will begin on Opening Day on October 3rd. One group will skate from 9am-10am and
a second group will skate from 10am-11am. You will receive an email notifying which group you will
skate with. All skates will take place at the Glanbrook Arena. After evaluations, teams will then be
formed later in the week. Your Team Coach will contact you to confirm your team name and your
first team practice. You will receive your team sweater and socks at your first team practice.
