Fridays practise at gateway was replaced by a father/son game. From what I hear the kids worked hard against the dads, and the dads realized just how much energy it takes to keep up.  I think everyone enjoyed themselves....but no one ever did say who won???

The Rangers lost their final game against Caledonia by a score of 3-2.  The team started off slow in the first period but played great for periods 2 and 3.  They should all have their heads held high for such a great effort. Wes Rolson definately kept the score close and stopped some really tough shots.  Congrats Wes R. for earning the player of the game hard hat.

What a game! It was a 'Do or Die' situation for the Rangers last night and both team wanted the win. 

The team faced Ayr last Friday and managed to pull out a win.  We came from behind and a strong effort from the team in the third period resulted in a 4-3 win. In our series against Caledonia we went into tonights game with a game a piece. We started the game off strong and had a 2-0 lead but that slowly dwindled away.  In the third period Caledonia tied the game 2-2 forcing us into overtime.  Caledonia fought hard and ended up winning 3-2.  

The boys started the OMHA series against Caledonia and won 2-1. Both team came out hard and Caledonia got the first goal against us. It took a while for us to even it up but we did and the boys momentum started to kick in.  From that time forward the Rangers seemed more focused and determined which resulted on another goal for us and the win. Keep it up boys! Hard hat winner for this game was Owen Mann.
