Peewee AE's Are the NDHL Champions!!!!
Submitted By Jason Shedden on Tuesday, March 28, 2017
The GMHA was treated to a win-win final championship series in the Peewee Belcot division this week.  The Minor Peewee Reps were seeded 1st overall with a fantastic season while Peewee AE's had to fight their way through a 2 game tiebreaker to win the 2nd seed.  The final series was set for a Ranger vs Ranger battle...

It seemed as though the entire community came out to support both teams and the boys didn't disappoint.  Game 1 was an extremely tight game with end to end action.  By the end of the 3rd, the AE's managed to squeak out a 4-3 win by the final buzzer.  Game two was electric.  From the drop of the puck, the boys started right where they left off in game 1, back and forth non-stop action.  This high scoring affair was one to remember.  With less than a minute left in the 3rd and the game tied at 5-5, the AE's managed to slip the puck in one more time with merely seconds left.

It was said that this is probably one of the most entertaining games Glanbrook has seen in years.  Both teams should be proud of themselves.  Congrats to the Minor Peewee's for an amazing season, and more to come.

Congratulations to the Peewee AE's for clawing their way through a 3-way tie for second place and leaving it all on the ice to win the Championship trophy.
