Rogers Hometown Hockey is Coming to Hamilton !!!
Submitted By Jason Shedden on Thursday, March 16, 2017
*Attention all hockey fans, Rogers Hometown Hockey hosted by CBC’s Ron Maclean, is coming to Hamilton the weekend of April 8th & 9th.

During this weekend and even the week leading up to the event, there will be a series of activities taking place for all Hamilton area hockey enthusiasts to participate in.  The main venue will be at Pier 8, 47 Discovery Dr., Hamilton.

The Minor Atom Rep Team has even been fortunate enough to win a VIP Experience and may be seen on the Sunday CBC Broadcast.  The Novice Blue and Atom Blue LL Teams have also been selected to participate in a Skills Challenge on Wednesday, April 5th at Mountain Arena.

Please stay tuned for more information, however at this time we are Calling all Cheers....

Leading up to the celebrations in Hamilton, local hockey teams have the opportunity to win the ultimate hockey experience as part of the CHEER LIKE NEVER BEFORE contest.  Coaches & Parents, we need you to get your team organized with their video cheer.  Once your cheer is ready to go, teams can upload a video of their cheer to the Rogers Hometown Hockey website.  The top-5 vote-getters are invited to take part in the festivities during the Tour weekend.  The voting is open until March 27.  Once your cheer is uploaded, let us know and we will get the association players and families to vote.  Visit www.hometownhockey.com. for details on how to upload and vote. The quicker you get your cheer up, the more opportunity for votes.

Good luck and CHEER LIKE NEVER BEFORE !!!
