The Minor Atom Rep Team travelled to Brantford over the Christmas break to show their talents in the Wayne Gretzky International Tournament and they didn't disappoint.  After a game one loss, the team battled threw their disappointment with 5 straight wins to take the championship with a 3-0 win in the finals against New Hamburg.  Their tournament stats were an impressive 36 GF with only 8 GA.

This is the third tournament of the season and the boys have been able to make it to the finals in all three attempts.  This Championship is their first tournament win of this season.  Their season record is an impressive 33-5-2 and are sitting near the top of the NDHL Belcot Division.  They're also ranked 9th in Ontario.

During the Rogers post game interview, Head Coach Tim Harvey expressed his staffs emphasis on team play and a strong work ethic as the key to their success.

Keep an eye on these boys for the remainder of the regular season and playoffs.  They're a strong contender for both the NDHL and the OMHA's.
