The VP of OMHA Sil Bonitatibus requires the assistance of an OMHA Convenor for the 2016-17 season. OMHA CONVENORS (Appointed by the V.P. of OMHA):
To be responsible for administering the Constitution and By-Laws of the GMHA and their general intent
and objective within the divisions, to the extent of recommending to the Executive discipline of any
coach, player or manager.
a) Shall oversee the complete operation of the representative and A/E teams
b) Shall be the GMHA’s representative at all affiliated league meetings
c) Shall assist the player registrar and LL convenors in player movement
d) Shall keep the V.P. of OMHA, informed of all activities concerning representative teams and
representative players
e) Shall become a member of the BOD with voting rights within their divisions
f) Shall be responsible to see that all disciplinary measures are carried out and record all major
penalties
g) Shall ensure all coaches, team officials, players are operating/behaving in a manner that reflects the
objectives and aims of GMHA
h) Convenors are not insured to move nets prior to and after hockey games
i) Shall assist with fundraising programs proposed by the GMHA
j) Shall assist Player Registrar with registrations and classification of players in each division
k) Shall work in tandem with the VP of OMHA
