Cpl. Nathan Cirillo
The Glanbrook Minor Hockey
Association wishes to offer its condolences to the family and friends of Cpl.
Nathan Cirillo, an alumnus of the GMHA.
Tragically, Nathan was taken from us far too
early on the events that transpired in Ottawa on October 22, 2014.
Nathan was a very proud member of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, a Primary Reserve Infantry Regiment of the Canadian Forces, based at John W. Foote VC Armoury in Hamilton, Ontario.
Nathan began playing hockey in Glanbrook in 1999 as an Atom aged player and continued playing here until 2005, when he graduated out of minor hockey as a Midget aged player.
The courage, strength, passion and determination Nathan was known to have are all characteristic we must continue to instill in all our young hockey players.
Sadly, Nathan leaves behind a six year old son, Marcus. The Argyll Regimental Foundation has established a trust fund for Marcus and donations can be made at any TD Canada Trust Bank. Rest in Peace Nathan !
