The Minor Bantam Rangers finished off their season this past Saturday by defeating Garden City AE 3-2 to win the NDHL Bantam Belcot A Division Championship.
Congratulations to all players and coaching staff who contributed to the success of our team this season.
The Minor Bantam team finished with a record of 46-12-8 after finishing first place in NDHL regular season play and then went on to battle to the semi-finals of the OMHA playdowns. This was capped off with the NDHL championship to close out the season.
On behalf of the coaching staff I would like to thank our parent group for their continued support throughout the 2018/19 season.
On behalf of the players and myself, we would like to thank Assistant Coaches - Tim Harvey, Shawn Lewandowski and Rob Levitt and of course our Team Trainer Eva Macqueen and Manager Stacey Johnson for their outstanding work this season. Each of you spent countless hours at the rink volunteering your time or behind the scenes keeping our finely tuned hockey machine running in perfect order.
To all the boys:
You should be extremely proud of your accomplishments this season. You stayed committed to our team motto to PLAY FAST and I hope each of you feel that you have developed into better hockey players throughout this season.
I will miss you....
I wish you all well as you continue down the road on your journey as a hockey player. I hope each of you continues to play hockey and takes this game with you as a lifelong sport. I hope all of you are still playing hockey in your Major Midget year. We will make a team...somewhere. I will be your coach if you let me.
