Game 2 vs Caledonia: November 2, 2014
Another great game for the Devils with a 4-3 ( coaches note: we actually had 5 goals ) win against Caledonia.
First off, we would like to congratulate Jacob, #8, on his first game ever with a shot on net during the second period, working hard to get the puck and earning himself the hardest worker for today's game. Well done!
Justin, #16, also had a great game earning himself the golden moment by having some great passes, fantastic stick handling and excellent effort scoring two goals. Eric, #11, Matthew, #12 Carson #5 scored as well with assists from Carson, #5, Liam, #4, and Eric, #11. Kayden had some great saves in net, awesome work.
Jayden, #9, got his first penalty minutes in the second period. Sammy, #7, got a penalty in the third period. These were both tripping penalties while fighting for the puck, lets stay strong and work on our positioning
We struggled a little with offsides and defensive coverage in our zone, that will get better with practice. Some great passing showing good teamwork that we will build on. Our last two minutes of the game we kept the pressure on, even when Caledonia pulled their goalie giving them an extra attacker.
