Minor Atom Reps Give at Christmas with "Rangers4Lives"
Christmas is the season for giving and the Minor Atom Rangers Rep Team took their giving to a new level.

The Glanbrook Rangers Minor Atom team began their mission in early December. This was the inaugural "Rangers4Lives" project to raise funds for McMaster Children's Hospital Foundation. The boys and their families realize the importance of having a great hospital to provide the best care for the community when they need it most. Christmas is a time of giving and that is exactly what they did.  Their families spread the word via social media and the Binbrook Proshop about a gameday for MacKids at Glanbrook arena on December 17th, 2016.  They spent the day collecting funds and the boys had a dazzling performance in a 6-0 win.  With a snow storm in the forecast, some of the boys geared up to clear neighbourhood driveways and donated their earnings towards their mission.  In the end, the project raised over $3000 for the hospital and the boys celebrated their success by touring the facility and delivering the funds along with toys and personalized pucks signed by every child for patients.  The team used the power of hockey to benefit the community and the boys learned a valuable lesson by giving to those in need.

The Minor Atom Ranger Rep team would like to wish everyone a healthy and happy 2017.
